It is health that is real wealth
When he writes about us FORBES - editor Rozália Hubeňáková then it turns out:
Health should be the greatest life goal. These are 25 tips on how to be better to yourself and the environment.
„It is health that is real wealth and not pieces of gold and silver.“ – these are Gandhi’s words. Who of us would contradict him? We uncovered the topic of health and other fields that are necessarily related to it with Erika Jung, director of the Human Health Institute. She gave us 25 tips on how to lead a healthier and better life.
Human Health Institute was founded in 2016 during the World Day of the Sick (February 11). Jung says she chose this date intentionally for the whole concept. From the beginning, she wanted to raise social awareness about health as well as illnesses.
But she also focused on promoting physical, mental and social well-being and enhancing people's environmental feelings. This is what she and her team are doing today in the form of educational and inspirational activities, projects, but also events for primary and secondary schools. She points out that health should be the most important goal of every person.
“We live in the material world. It is therefore difficult to offer products and services such as health, prevention, and enlightenment in a tangible form, ” explains Jung, who says she has always wanted to change things to make them better. The impulse for her was the study of Professional Health Care Management in Vienna.

"I belonged to a group of 30 people who worked in top healthcare facilities and institutes across Austria," she adds. She took this opportunity to watch them closely and listen to how they could solve the health problems of the population.
But she still asked one question. How can she avoid anything she learned about? “I found that the secret was hidden in prevention. At a point where it costs you nothing and where you are not yet in contact with healthcare as such, ” she explains. Therefore, prevention has become the cornerstone of the Human Health Institute. This was also accompanied by the development of ecological and emotional intelligence.
She therefore uses awareness in the institution to promote health. Through 5 sections: health, education, environment, movement and art support. “Some ask what it has to do with education and movement? It is simple. The higher the education, the lower the morbidity, the more movement, the less morbidity, ” she continues.
She prepared 25 tips from these 5 areas that you can apply in your life, but also in the lives of your children.
1. Health
- Focus on a healthy lifestyle. There are many traditional, alternative ways, ideas and beliefs with a long tradition. These are focused on happiness, balance and harmony of body and soul. Find what suits you.
- Rest, relax, sleep properly, get to know your body, soul and energy more deeply. Take responsibility for your own life and events in it. Try to understand the connections between the body, thoughts, emotions, words, energy, health and life.
- Eat healthy, choose seasonal food from our regions. You are what you eat. Make sure you know what you ingest and choose quality things. Less is more, the energy needed for body and soul, for survival, does not mean overeating with poor quality products that are full of preservatives.
- Live actively, minimise fear, build courage and engage in personal development activities. Direct your attention to inner happiness, harmony of body and mind.
- Build and seek healthy relationships, understand their connections. And that applies to every area of your life. Learn to use and properly apply all your senses.
2. Education
- Do not lose interest in education, information and communication. Understand, that it is your natural part. That’s why it is necessary in the right decision-making, both in life and in personal development.
- As you learn, you think. And as you think, you feel and that is reflected in your behaviour and living. Information determines the quality of your life.
- Be in social contact and deepen it. Focus on networking, broaden your view and be open to positive changes.
- Actively work on personality development. Share your own and others' experiences. Grow love, freedom, passion, forgiveness and gratitude in your life.

- Live consciously. Every day. Develop your own ecological intelligence, conscious environmental thinking, decision-making and action. All of this must be based on your knowledge, experience, attitudes and values.
- Think global, act locally. Plant trees or plants. Promote permaculture, zero-waste but also minimise consumption, disposable products and those that have a short life span.
- Promote mutual relations of the various components of the environment. Protect natural resources and try to prevent their pollution. Promote life in nature.
- Learn about the negative effects. Look at pollution, destruction, stop degradation of ecosystems, devastation of natural resources, forests, national parks, habitats of national, European or global importance.
4. Movement
- Life itself is movement. And everything is always in motion. It is a rhythm that you can follow, but also a tool, through which the body gets the necessary energy. Movement is a human ability that you should use and perceive as a daily need. It's the basis of life, stay in motion and be active.
- Sport activities and exercises focus mainly on staying in the fresh air. Go into nature, physically burden your body more than usual. Pump your heart, for example, by walking, running, fitness.
- Start with yoga, meditation and develop observation. As you move, do not forget about your mind, it needs it as well. Therefore, do not stop moving with it.
- Harden. Do not be afraid to expose your body to such stress, it will increase blood circulation and improve your immunity.
- Consider movement as a tool to strengthen health. Also, look at it as a prevention of disease and in the case of a disease, as a medicine that will help you to recover.
5. Art
- Let your energy and creativity flow. Use the art in order to rest and relax.
- Show your own feelings in art. But it can also help you achieve your goals or awaken your creativity.
- Think of art as a tool of an emotional, artistic expression, but also as a tool for personal development and communicator needed to express, transmit and obtain information.
- Think about that art deepens the relationship of man to himself. It is an emotional expression that makes you aware. It also enhances your feelings, values and develops emotional intelligence.
- Art reduces negative feelings. It helps to heal and discover new things. Think of art as a manifestation of yourself and others.
