World cleanup day 2019

Most people hate it and some of them are obsessed with it - cleaning. However, from time to time everyone does it, whether at home, in the garden, in front of the threshold or even in the head.

September 21, 2019 will be the World Cleanup Day and on this occasion we decided to cleanup in nature around our houses, along streets or by rivers #rivercleanup. Because there are still a lot of garbage around, we have a lot to do to strive for the kind of environment we want to live in.

World Cleanup Day will be a global event involving Slovakia and together with 150 nations we will collect garbage in our companies and cities for 36 hours, starting in New Zealand and ending in Hawaii. Together with millions of volunteers, we will clean the world #worldcleanupday. This event relates to this year's worldwide plogging #ploggingworld, so the event will be in the name of sports too #runandclean.

This event will include the #fillthebottle challenge. Cigarette ends in our country make an extraordinarily large part of the waste, so we will collect them separately into bottles (for example plastic ones that we will find when collecting) and at the end we will show everyone how many bottles of cigarette ends we have collected.
